Cape Wind Now

Cape Wind is the country’s first proposed utility-scale offshore wind farm destined for federal waters in Nantucket Sound, off the coast of Massachusetts. In the last 11 years, Cape Wind has cleared every federal and state review, passed environmental muster, and has garnered the support of 80 percent of Massachusetts citizens. But Bill Koch, who made a fortune from coal and oil, is spending millions to prevent Cape Wind’s clean offshore wind energy.

Conservation Law Foundation, who operates across New England on climate change and other environmental issues, brought in Echo & Co. to develop online strategy for the new Cape Wind Now coalition. Working with our design partner, Liberty Concepts, we developed a coalition name, logo and visual identity and executed it on the new website -- in under four weeks soup-to-nuts. Using powerful images and integrating an online petition (powered by Convio Luminate), the new website delivers a compelling campaign message and a clear path to take action.
