Pearl Harbor Survivors Veterans Day Webcast

Pearl Harbor Survivors Veterans Day Webcast

On September 8, 2006, we launched the Pearl Harbor Survivors Project, an interactive website that seeks to document and honor those who survived the events of December 7, 1941.

So far, about 200 hundred survivor stories have been submitted online. This is especially important, given that most survivors are in their 80s and 90s, and this year will most likely be the last time they gather in Hawaii to commemorate the events of December 7, 1941.

To honor these veterans, we are hosting a special Veterans Day webcast on Friday, November 10 at 12pm and 3pm ET. The live webcasts will feature Pearl Harbor survivors, all answering questions from individuals, educators and students. Please take a moment to visit the site and ask a question in advance:

We will do our best to make sure that the survivors answer as many questions as possible during the live broadcast.

Also, please be sure to tune in on Friday and watch the webcasts live at 12 and 3pm ET:

Thanks for your support, and for helping us to honor America's "Greatest Generation."
